One Act Play Festival 2024

This September MADC is back with the 45th edition of The MADC One Act Play Festival.

Yep, Malta’s favourite theatre festival turns 45! A grand total of six short plays will be staged
with twenty two talented performers all ready to give you not one but two super entertaining
evenings.

The MADC One Act Play Festival 2024 will take place at the MADC Playhouse, St Venera
on Thurs 5th, Fri 6th, Sat 7th Sep at 7:30pm and Sun 8th Sep at 7:00pm. Sunday 8th
September’s performance will be followed by the awards ceremony. Here is the full
performance schedule:

Thursday 5th & Saturday 7th September:

Play 1: CLARA by Arthur Miller - Directed by Silvana Maimone
Featuring Andrew Zammit, David Muscat, Agata Dominika & Nicholas Camilleri.

Play 2: Ritual for Dolls by George MacEwan Green - Directed by Sarah Jane Zrinzo

Play 1: The ‘Sneeze’ by Anton Chekhov, translated and adapted by Michael Frayn - Directed by Asen Bukov

Play 2: A Game by Dennis E. Noble - Directed by Alexia Manduca
Featuring Aidan Aquilina, Derine Labada Muscat, Zsofia Veronika Kelemen & Luca Aidan Piccinino.

Play 3: Death Threats by Ashley Harris - Directed by Stefan Galea Debono

Awards will be given for Best Production, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Most
Promising Actor and Most Promising Actress.
